What is Iris Global
A Christ-centered missions organization committed to bringing light into darkness, healing to the broken, and love to the unloved. One person at a time.
This international Christian missions organization was born out of the desire to love as Jesus loves and to go where few are willing to go. Founded by Rolland and Heidi Baker, Iris is fueled by a passion for God’s presence and compassion for people – especially the poor, forgotten, broken, and marginalized.

Where we serve
Iris Global has missionary bases in over 30 nations across continents, working in urban, rural, and hard-to-reach regions. Our commitment is to go where the need is greatest – spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
A central focus of Iris Global is in northern Mozambique, where we are deeply involved in responding to a humanitarian crisis. Our teams work with war victims, internally displaced families, and devastated communities by providing relief, shelter, discipleship, and hope.
Iris Global in Brazil
In Brazil, Iris Global is represented through different missionary initiatives. Among them, Iris Rio stands out as a vibrant base located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is a place of worship, community, and action, where the love of Jesus is shared with the poor, the broken, and the forgotten.
From Rio, we carry out local outreaches, evangelism, discipleship, and community projects, while also hosting the Harvest School of Missions Rio – an intensive training program for lovers of Jesus from all over the world.
